Dive where we delve into creating short, original performance bits. Using prompts from clown, buffoon, physical comedy, music, and surrealism, you’ll spark ideas and bring them to life.

Expect lots of stage time, playful exploration, and bold experimentation—solo or with others. We’ll use tools like movement, writing, gesture, and audience connection to shape raw impulses into unforgettable creations.

Kym Priess (aka “Hawk”) is a high-voltage, multi-hyphenate performer and passionate teaching artist known for her bold blend of clown, character work, and rock ‘n roll.  Trained at NYU’s Experimental Theatre Wing, she’s studied with masters like Christopher Bayes, Avner the Eccentric, Mary Overlie,  Chad Damiani and more. Kym brings years of experience as a performer and former acting coach to her dynamic workshops, which focus on unlocking play, presence, and personal expression through clown-infused devising.

Onstage, she’s toured with Peaches, sung on William Shatner’s album, and fronts the rock spectacle STUNTDRIVER. Her solo show Loser Lion Party Bus—currently touring across the U.S.—fuses comedy, chaos, and heart, with stops in Edinburgh, London, Austin, LA, and Las Vegas. Whether she’s performing or teaching, Kym creates space for artists to surprise themselves, connect deeply, and have a blast doing it.
